The QINet´s technological platform for management and distribution of educational contents is already under development, getting completed in the first quarter of 2013.

The platform will allow, in a simply way, that every country of the QINet network or QINet Institutions can digitize their books or upload their contents and make them available to the school community. It will also allow the OCR of contents and its accommodation in the QINet databases, which can be edited, modified and translated into several languages.

The platform will enable in a easy way the mapping of the curriculum of the disciplines to the existing contents on the data bases and automatic generation of new textbooks, according to the needs of the institutions or countries.

The platform will incorporate and provide the QINet library to the QINet community, organized by academic years, scientific fields and disciplines, with QINet contents and from various sources, able to be used by the QINet institutions, with specific areas for students and faculty.

Each entity will have freedom to manage their personal area where they can configure it and manage their own library, contents and its accessibility.
