March 2012 // QINet Project is one of the final nominees of the 2012 IPA contest
The QINet Project participates in the “2012 Innovation Prize for Africa", a contest promoted by The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the African Innovation Foundation (AIF) and is one of the finalists’ projects. Winning or not winning is not the most important thing. The fact that he has been selected as one of the finalists’ projects is confirmation that is a project with much potential and that we are working in the right way. The QINet Project is an ambitious project from the technological standpoint, educational standpoint and social Scope, it can help that millions students can have access to quality educational contents for free. The QINet Project will involve local and regional governments, schools, universities, organizations, suppliers, maintenance, certification activities, technological partners, all working in a collaborative way. The QINet indirectly will help the increase of economic activity and development that results in long term sustainability. We believe that the QINet project can be one of the most important projects of the world in the education area of the XXI century. |
